Master Mahan, the delightfully ska-fueled punk rock band, played a hot set at Le Voyeur on Saturday, Februray 4th. While they are originally from Reton, WA, a suburb of Seattle, they have an Olympia connection in the two Evergreen freshmen, Zack Gilkson and Garrett Triplett, who serve on rhythm guitar and drums. Their light-hearted and polished album Mutton Buster weighs in at a whopping 19 tracks, but they justify such length with the exceptionally easy-going and digestable nature of frontman and main songwriter Nathan Jones' compositions.
