One act auditions around the corner

Riot To Follow! is once again in search of brave souls just foolish enough to go where-- well, where actually quite a few men and women have gone before. This winter, the one act festival will feature short plays across the board: new pieces and old favorites, poetic drama and slapstick humor, and written by anyone from Chekhov to that guy you bumped into five minutes ago at the Greenery.

If you have ever had the inclination to try your hand at acting, or if you’re a seasoned veteran of the stage, stop by Sem II C1107 on Wednesday the 18th or Thursday the 19th at 5pm for auditions. There’s no need to prepare a monologue-- just show up and be dramatic and/or hilarious.

The one act festival will feature six plays: three student written and three otherwise. The average cast size is roughly four actors, and with such variety in the line-up, there are many different roles to fill. You could end up a mayfly having an existential crisis, for all you know.

Again, auditions will be held in Sem II C1107 on Wednesday the 18th or Thursday the 19th at 5pm. Seriously-- go.
