On November 20, The Evergreen State College’s Student Activities and President’s Offices are presenting the film “Inequality for All” to campus. The documentary is a winner of the Sundance Film Festival’s Grand Jury Prize.
It features Robert Reich, former US secretary of Labor, and his take on the growing gaps in the domestic economy. The film is showing on November 20. The screening starts at 6 pm in Lecture Hall 1.
On November 22, the Tacoma Glass Museum is hosting an event open to students from 6:30 to 10:30 pm. Entry is free with a student ID from any Puget Sound area college.
The event, titled “Gather” aims to provide a venue for sharing the Glass Museum’s student-centered resources, such as internship opportunities and free or discount entry days for students. For example, entry is free for students every Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm.
According to Gather’s press release, the event will include:
“• Hands-on glass blowing & glass fusing workshops – student sign up available soon, spaces are limited!
• Access to art galleries & hot shop
• Free non-alcoholic beverages & bites
• DJ and dancing
• No host bar for 21 and over”
